I understand that there has been previous threads on this topic.

Just thought id let people know that i used the MAP MY RUN app for our downwinder last night and it worked a treat.

its totally free, can tell you your time, distance fastest and average speed.

worth looking at if you don't want to spend a tonne on a watch or GPS unit.

was interesting.

had to launch off the rocks and paddle out thru a channel, was an awesome calm way to start, what turned into a pretty true downwinder.

looking forward to doing it again, but with more crew.
