In conjunction with Ocean Addicts the first event of the Sunshine Coast SUP Club race series starts this Sunday the 1st down at Cotton Tree Maroochydore.
It is a 8km river race on the beautiful Maroochy river. Marshaling at 7.30am at the Cotton Tree Jetty/ Ocean Addicts Hire Center with the race starting at 8am sharp.
Following the club race there will be a special SUP event the Naish Australia sponsored N1SCO paddle which will be great fun with prizes a sausage sizzle and drinks. This race Starts soon after the club race around 10am.
All abilities can participate and are encouraged in the Naish N1SCO races on the day.
N1SCO racing is all about having fun and participation. We have some great trophies up for grabs and all people that participate on the day walk away with a Naish T-shirt and a big grin!
But the BIG ONE is...wait for it.....all paddlers who participate on the day go into the running to win the draw for 2 people a man and woman to compete in the N1SCO World Championships held in Germany later in the year! That's free return flights to Germany and your accommodation!!
You do not need a board or a paddle to participate in the event. Ocean Addicts and Naish are providing all boards and paddles. So if you or anyone you know want to get involved all you need to do is turn up before 10am on Sunday.
Get yourself amongst it guy's! Tell your friends and rock up on the day and get ready to have some fun on the water.

Damn! that is 2 blocks from my house but am in WA for another 2 wks :( I am sure it will be a great event. Great to see such things promoting the SUP lifestyle.
