Flowrider - anyone tried it?

I imagine there's one of these at a theme park on the Gold Coast but they have also installed one at MSAC in Melbourne.

IMO, what this thing needs is a paddle...

Pretty tricky to ride - easy to catch an edge.

A paddle would be good.

Jacko and Angie and the Roar Crew hit it at Xmas time and goy worked. They posted it somewhere. Easy on the Boogie but you get nailed when trying to stand up. Great as a spectator as the wipeouts are awesome.

Rode the one at wet n wild and the dreamworld one heaps.. Not hard to learn how to edge standing up, couple rides and I worked it out.. Managed some pop-shuvits etc. wake skating background helped.

Great fun with a few mates, falls don't hurt it's rubber!!!
