Hey guys,

As most of you probably know I hurt myself recently so I'm having to spend a little time out of the water still and needed something to pass the time so I got myself a drone.

I know its not sup but below is a video of the loggers at First Point from the last swell at Noosa last week and I thought you would enjoy it. Flying the drone makes for some amazing angles and with a perfect point like firsties you can get nice and tight and track relatively easily.

Let me know what you think.

I have also been shooting a little bit of sup stuff too which you can see a couple clips here. Hopefully I can get enough shots for another video soon.

Awesome job. Just loved that vid. You surf that chopper the best I have seen. Perfect positioning. Great use of injury time. Those angles taught me more about how logs track when on the nose etc than a few decades of previous observation. Thanks. Pretty freaky skills from the loggers as well.
PS the wide Sup, did he manage to get a wave

Keahi.... I agree with Macaha... the most enjoyable, interesting video I have seen.

I lived in Noosa for 7 months, so it was making me homesick.... I walked that track everyday for sessions... what a perfect place.

I have been on a longboard SUP kick lately, so seeing the board interaction with the wave from above is super helpful. Different board shapes interact differently to nose rides. Very cool to be able to study the difference.

Heal well... but don't abandon the Drone.... you have talent in the air.. and the editing room.

All time drone footage. The Dishpan goes OK in the air.

Thanks guys, stoked you like the vid. Im pretty happy with how it came out. It sucks being out of the water but Im having fun with this at least.

The drone really is the perfect way to shoot long boarding and it really is cool to see how the board sits in the wave and the way it tracks through. I'll try and get some more vids up soon. For anyone thats on instagram I posting little mini clips pretty often so follow me if you want to see more.
