I have a YOB SUP but it's actually a wingfoil board, approx 7' X 28" @ 150 litres.
It has dual track mount for the foil, 2 X US boxes about 4 to 5 inches apart.
It doesn't SUP very well as it's so short but I was hoping it might work better with fins rather than the foil.
We only want to use it for low speed flat water in the mornings prior to wingfoiling when the wind picks up.
We are full time on the road so have limited gear & trying to utilise what we have.
Any suggestions to make it perform better?
So it's a foil SUP which does work great for winging .. But you wanna use it for normal SUP
Am I reading that right?
I'd suggest that the tracks will be too far forward, it will be like having a single fin SUP with a box that's a foot too far forward
Thus I think stick the most ridiculously raked weedy in it that you can find and see
+1 with mark. Also, if not designed specifically to also SUP, its rails and rocker wont work at all for non-foil SUPing.

Correct on all Mark.
It tends to pivot as the boxes are too far forward.
I thought with a couple of big fins it might be better & also considered a stick on fin for the nose, that shouldn't affect Foiling.
Not surprised
could bung a suction cup centre fin on like u use as a centreboard for learning to windsurf on a SUP .. Just way back instead of centre...
