Hi guys, I know this has been covered several times, I have tried to find past posts, but can't seem to find any!

Looking to locate some off-cuts to apply to a paddle schools decks (kinda slippy) and remember someone posting about it a while ago.

Also there was an article about some heagonal patches that you can put ontop? like a wax? can't find that post either, maybe its from the heat and I'm dehydrated and in need of a cool beer.

Cheers if your able to assist.

I've seen those hexagonal patches advertised in longboard mags I'll see if I can find it tonight when I get home from work.

some info here regarding the hex patches, monster grip, etc.

Have you considered rubberised cork? I purchased 1 of these

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=3mm+rubberised+cork&_sacat=0&_from=R40

with a view to using as deck grips. A bunch of circles.

I ended up scoring a new deck pad for $30 so didn't follow through on the cork circles. 3mm rubberised cork can be purchased in sheets cheaper than suitable EVA. You would need some decent spray adhesive eg 3M.

Cheers
