I made a 3D printed holder for Stanley Knife blades to cut hex pieces out of deck grip. Works an absolute treat, happy to provide the stl file if anyone wants to print themselves one. Uses 12 M3 x 12 socket head screws and nyloc nuts to grip the blades. Place it on the deck grip on a plastic chopping board and gentle tap with a soft hammer over each blade and bingo, nice hex pattern deck grip. If anyone would like stl files for holder and cover just pm me your email address. Great way to use up old scraps of deck grip and with different colours can create centre line and position indicators for foiling stance.

Jonathan, a great concept,my only concern is I have had problems in the past with the squared up edge on the grip catching and peeling back with use, maybe an adjustment to Version 2 ,a packer behind the blades to cut at an angle to eradicate the square edge, eliminating peel back ?Again great idea !it could be used as is on a much thinner product, like the current transparent grips ,if the sheets could be sourced ?![]()
Looks great.. I'm surprised no one sell them.. I once cookie cut deck pad dots to stick in front of my deck pad to use instead of wax.. Worked great..
