Cracked it at Tolaga Bay.

On Saturday it was blowing on shore so we went up the coast to Tolaga Bay had a look at river mouth didn't look tha good , so we went out at the wharf.

We had a few there I could see waves at the river mouth so I paddled two k to there this what I saw.

Lefts so long may be 700 mtrs long first time I' ve strack this it misses the swell most of the time ,there was me and four locals I didn't take photos cause I might have end up with the camera UP (WELL YOU KNOW WHERE).
looked at the swell forcast for Sunday bigger ! thats us back there up at 5 of we go , get there its smaller .So we paddled to Cooks Cove

So we got afew small ones there Scotty had the camra but hes not too good withit sorry



First time I've tryed posting photos so don't kick me too hard ,figured you need to take the camera out to get the photos Lol

Ahh memories........... had a good week down your way at the end of Jan. Not pipe but Roberts Rd, Makarori etc.

Was actually great surf 100% better than the sheep photo would indicate

And this morning at makorori had a bit of size...a good 3 foot swell. Have actually tested my $3 camera case (sans camera) & it was a total success.
Meant to take camera out but it was dark & had to have a light on my helmet when I went down the track from makorori hill lookout & was supposed to be going to work soonish....so sort of lost the plot & did the me me me going for a surf thing
