Sorry mate going to have to say please don't use that stuff from bunnings it does nothingat all and when you pull it of it can take paint and gloss with it!!!! The stuff we use I get a full year out of it on my hire boards and even then it will still look good yes it cost a bit more but from what I have seen it by far the best stuff by a long way!!! Most of the stuff the sup company's are selling is siht house as well and a rip off. Well IMO anyway!!
we will just have to agree to disagree

I peeled it off 2 boards I owned and sold (after being on for 8-12months and both surfed alot) it didnt remove any paint. One of the buyers asked if I had the rails repainted..."nope" I said, "just taped". To this day I still scuff and hit my board paddling. Having seen the end results of my "technique" on NON taped boards, this stuff is doing a great job. Im sure your hire boards cop more, NO DOUBT....but for me and the average punter on our own 1 person use boards, the "All Weather Tape" is fine and a dam sight cheaper.
I recently had my 12.6 repaird and they had to pull the tape off....once again no paint removed...
maybe its just the cheap boards you sell ..... hahahahahahahaha
haha how did i know you would agree to disagree!!

Why are you using rail tape at your high level any way?
I dont think any of the good boards chip these days do they? i think the rail tape is more there for peaple who have to put there boards down on the concrete or if the kids are going to hack in to it. I have pulled tape of nearly every type of board and some come of sweet and others not so sweet. The main problem i find is if the tape is thin and you board is a chiper then all the tape will do is hold the chip in place untill you take the tape off and the all the chips come of anyway!!
Maybe serg its time to remove your training wheels and go it with out tape?

Those iphone holders look the goods i might need one of those i think!!
