Saturday is looking good for a run at the moment, straight south.

And how good is the weather looking for the race in Sunday! 28, sunny and only light winds should be a cracker!

And looks like we'll have pretty slack tide as well especially for the second leg which will be great.

That is one of the reasons why this weekend was chosen for the race as most of us know how ferocious that tide can be, especially in the lower section of the river.

Oh and I thought this weekend was chosen because you knew I was working a 12hr nightshift Saturday night.

Actually I was still going to try to get the night off and come along but after having a great surf session for a few hours up Wedge way yesterday, I have discovered that my left arm/shoulder still hasn't recovered from my 2 weeks in Bali.
Stuffed if I know what I did to it, some kind of paddling RSI (left deltiod I think) hurts like hell when paddling hard for a wave, so I think I am going to have to take it easy for a bit longer.

Enjoy the event guys, depending on how my shift goes I might come along and watch.
