Is it "Live" only... or are you posting the vids so we can watch later?

Don't fear, you'll be able to watch them after you get back from your surf each morning Rick. ![]()
Episode 1 : Telos Speeed
Based on the forecast of a building swell, the Tengirri up anchored from Padang and steamed through the night, heading straight for the Telo Islands. After an incredibly smooth crossing, we arrived the next morning and were greeted by this...
Yep have sup and surfed this a couple times, its the grouse alright, looks pretty uncrowded here, too much fun
Episode 2 : Telos Creek I
It was time to move a little further north along the Telo Islands chain, before the bulk of the swell faded out. We found a fraction more people in some of the lineups but still snagged some super fun sessions...
Wicked surfing Casso - throwing a few buckets around in that one!
How good's the light on those last few waves.
Just curious, how do you decide when to use your creek and when to grab the speeed?
Good question. I used the Speeed for the first few sessions of the trip because it was pretty solid and I wasn't terribly surf fit (due to busy times at work). The extra couple of litres made it easier to paddle and more stable. After I'd warmed up and got my surf legs back, I switched to the Creek which was good because it coincided with some more high performance waves (better for the pulled in nose of the Creek). Then towards the end of the trip I switched back to the Speeed because I wanted something easier/more comfortable due to being so sore and tired from surfing 8 hours a day.
So, in general:
- Speeed for when it's bigger, fatter, choppier or I want to take it a bit easier with trying to balance.
- Creek for when it's suckier, more rippable, cleaner or I want to go a bit more high performance.
Episode 3 : Telos Creek II
We continued to search for the best, most uncrowded waves we could find in the amazingly beautiful Telo Islands. Our surf guides did an awesome job and got us just what we were after.
Thanks Casso!
Stunning setting, waves and surfing. For me starting every morning with a new video is inspiring. I am land locked for another week and looking forward to getting back out surfing.
Lots of fin discussions on other threads but wondering what fins you are running on your Creek and Speeed?
Cheers
Bob
