Hi all, I'm quite newish in the sport and using this carbon 8.2 jp for couple of months. Today I noticed at the front top left side 2 small dents, don't even recall how they got there. It's look innocent but should I be worry . I'm sure it just from a body hit furring wipeout but anyway will apriciate any comment.

I was making pic in a bad light straight after session, but it's maybe good that dents are hard to see. That's a more of a close up.

I have a jp 8'2 wide body pro and have a few similar dings on the deck towards the nose. I dropped the paddle on it when it was fairly new and got a ding from that (wont be doing that again!), i assume the others are from paddles, knees, elbows ect during wipeouts:), nothing to worry about and probs not much can be done about it:)

Really? Well it's ultra light anyway. You can go jog with it.

Yeah I reckon my 8'2 wb comes in at 7.5 kg without fins... Jp say that carbon can make boards too stiff...

It's not that I'm ripping on waves but this board responds amazingly, before I hade ( still do ) my old 9ft starboard pocket rocket. That's a heavy one.

I came down from a 10'5 so noticed a massive difference!, I'll hang onto it for another year or so then go a bit narrower I think, having a ball on it at the mo tho!
