Ive been riding a 2009 model 9'6 naish hokua for almost 2 years and whilst I have loved every minute of riding this board I am now looking for something else that handles better in the surf with about the same level of stability.
At 6'2 and 86 kgs I was initially thinking that I should be going shorter a bit wider (about 9' by 30” plus) however a couple of people have told me I should be looking at something about the same size (9'6 by about 29.5') because improvements in design over the last few years will give a much better performing board.
Any thoughts or recommendations? Cheers
towball tells me the naish 9'5 is nirvana.....but even I would say demo one of them....they are the new improved model of the 9'6
