Hi Guys

we are having our monthly 5km TT this Saturday 1st September(sorry for the short notice- the Avon was on last month and I got out of the routine).

Meet at Zephrs @ 0615 - North Car park in front of the playground
0630 - hit the water to paddle up
Start at Point Walter Bank @0700

We will start at 10 second intervals using the RaceSplitter timing program we will use for the Bridge the Bank (BTB). People will be sent off according to board and speed.

Great opportunity to try out the second half of the BTB course and get a feel for the distance. Look forward to seeing you there.

All free, all welcome and all fun!

Greg

See what the wind strength is like on the day. Very easy to reverse the course when we meet at Zephrs. We will have this option for the Bridge the Bank as well.
Hope to see you there Hilly!

Think hilly would rather stick pins in his eyes than paddle the flat but you never know that board of his goes ok
Will try to get there have girls hockey final at 9 so may be pushing it as I am the super coach / well not really Julie's is I just do the subs and goalie coaching

Hilly did make an appearance at the last time trial, so stranger things have happened than Hilly showing up to a flat water paddle (not many but a few).

Flat and against the wind yes the pins are a good option

Reverse it and the wind is in could be interested.

Came last time to catch up with Dale

Does that mean you will be entering the bridge the bank race as Dale seemed pretty set on coming over for it when I was speaking to him at the nationals.

With those winds and an incoming tide, think a course reversal would see some quick times and given the way some of the other boys have been paddling I imagine there would be a few sub 30's.

Hi Guys
Given the wind direction we will reverse the Time Trial starting at Stirling bridge. Still meet at Zephrs Cafe North carpark at 0615-0630. The breeze is very sheltered along this course and it is quite light anyway. We are mainly reversing it to work with the current.

We are using numbered bibs to trial our new timing system for the Bridge the Bank.

All welcome.

Results from today's Time Trial. Good good Ben and Ash out, Ash did very well for her first SUP race.
Well done to Ben, breaking the 30min barrier!
