For the record - agree not cool pushing her off her board and yes the guy is obviously a tool. His inappropriate actions however are definitely part or a worsening problem. Cott is a complete circus.
Don't know about circus it's city surfing. It is what it is .with commitments etc I don't usually have the time to travel too far to surf so it's Perth or nothing and I'm really impressed at how well it works considering sometimes theres 20 plus surfers on one wave.I'd rather catch a few waves, let others catch some and share the good feeling out there than hassle for everything and get angry with others when they don't do as expected.nearly every one else out there feels the same IMO otherwise you'd see conflict all the time ,which you don't.had a great two mornings there.hats off to all those who share and the few (and there really are not many)your should just try it you'd have a much better time.to the Hawaiian looking surfer who called me on to a wave thanks. That's something I haven't seen out there..
I do not agree that she should have been that close to him to be able to contact him with her paddle & if she didnt apologise she deserves to get a bit back, i would expect it if i was out on my SUP but then again i wouldnt be so rude to get that close and then tell him to get out of my way. Also the main thing is...... All the guy did was ask where the best surf is and listen to you all grow up and learn the rules and maybe you all should get some manners, take turns, if u cant handle your sup move to a different area.....maybe he is grumpy to you coz you are grumpy out their too...... Learn to have fun!
