Hi All,
We are just getting in to the whole SUPing thing...and we're loving it.
I own a Powersports Promotion company so music video's are part of what we do, so we thought we would throw a quick one together from out run last weekend. It's just a quick edit from footage we were never going to use for anything.
All shot with GoPro 3+ Black (on board) and a GoPro 3 silver (wristy). I have mounted cameras to every possible place on race buggies, off road cars and quad bikes, but bare with me while I get my head around the whole SUP thing. Looks like the old 10' Mana is going to get a few fin plugs smashed into her to give us more mount positions for the GoPro's. Looking forward to getting the drone out to do some filming soon too.
Regards

Hey Mick
Have a look at some of the camera angles DJ uses on his Downwinders
I have seen some of your Quad Bike adventures as I'm in Sydney
I would love to bring my 2009 800R Max Outlander for a desert trek but living in Sydney makes the trip almost impossible
Cheers Mike

I'm working on a way to include Quads or SSV's and SUP's some how and shooting another movie. My main client for my Event Management business is BRP (Can-am, Sea-doo, Evinrude etc) so maybe strapping a couple of SUP's onto the roof of a Can-am Maverick Max (4 seater) and following the Darling River down to Wentworth, alternating between the two forms or transport? Nothing is impossible, just sometimes seems improbable, and I do like a challenge. Has anyone ever SUP'd in Dalhousie Springs, on the edge of the Simpson Desert?

Had a swim in there 2 weeks ago (Dalhousie) - a bit small to bother about SUPng
Algebuckina water hole would be better on the other side of the Oodnadatta track to the bridge - goes for a kilometre or so (you can see it on satellite view) apparently permanent water. Eringa water hole was just brown red and looked cold

Nice. I took my daughter for a paddle around some mangroves in Swansea Channel during the last holidays to get out of the strong offshore winds. She had a great time. It is amazing how tranquil and calming this can be. Great video material.
