On Sunday I went to Ville-franche. This was race 2 of the Euro tour. The actual race was on Sat but I couldn't go. Went with my 9 year old daughter. It was a great atmosphere and there was fun racing and a bay clean up etc.
some of the pros were still there and I spoke to Martin Vitry (SIC) and Ty Judson (NSP). They were really friendly and happy to have a chat.
So it was a close race apparently and not much between the top 4 who all did it in 50-51 min. That's an avg of around 10kph!
Got to try a SIC RS 14x26. Very stable and pretty quick. My daughter tried an Oxbow something. It was Turquoise. She was happy. There were some really nice boards lying around that I wasn't aloud to try. First time I had seen a 21.5 inch wide board. It's crazy narrow.
