Does the event include a 12'6 individual division over 8km (as in previous years) or is it limited to 14' boards only over 15km?

Hi Juddy, CWA run this event and they have foregone the 9km distance due to extra human resources required for another start/registration area. So only 12'6 in the mixed team race.
Stimo, 14' is the primary flat water board to contest, but you can enter your unlimited board in the solo - no problem, there just is no division for it so you're racing yourself.

cheers for that Greg.

Recognise that there's heaps of crew on 14' boards but it's a tad disappointing that those of us who don't have 14' SUPs miss out on a great event....I missed this event last year but in the 2 previous years there were quite a few SUP'ing on boards 12'6 & smaller - one can only hope for next year....

Past years the distance was 9km. No problem to enter the teams race on a 12'6, which will be the same distance - duo or 3 person.

Only the 15km solo is 14'
