More size and shape than we usually see with you at that spot. Can't wait for the big day.
The GoPro flattens things out quite a bit, There were some cracking sets this morning.

+ one... how big does this spot hold?
couldn't get the smile off my face watching that!
great vibes, great use of the freedoms our returned servicemen and women have enabled us.
lest we forget, keep on the water. ![]()
cheers DJ
Not much surf over this side of the country on Anzac Day but a group of us hit the water on the Swan River at 5am for a 6km paddle down to near the flagpole at Narrows Bridge, under Kings Park where the Dawn Service was being held.
We listened as the faint sounds of the bugle carried down to us, watched the fly overs, read the Ode and had a minutes silence to pay respect to those that fought for our freedom, before making our way back.
The Kings Park War Memorial can be seen in the distance lit up in this photo
Need a bit of rainex on your lens get rid of that water !
Yes I know.. I have it in my car and always forget to use it.. It makes a huge difference.
There was so much good footage that was un watchable because of the wobbly water drops.. I almost didn't even make this vid and just hit delete on the files.
These waves in my vid were only the small ones.. Every time a big set came through I was paddling to get out of the way or paddling to catch them with no time to fiddle with the camera.
We had many big sets come through that were well overhead with big clean faces and these sets would start breaking way, way out the back catching most people out of possition.
Of corse if you paddled out there and waited they'd never come.. ![]()
Great surf session with lots of familiar faces in the lineup, unfortunately went past a few loose boards on one wave that hit and snapped my paddle blade, mmm not used to surfing in crowds... but plenty of waves coming through.
Is that the same spot from last week DJ?
Yes.. Went down today and it was crap.. ![]()
