A quick mash up of yesterdays session at spot g
The day started really weird, cold onshore and cloudy so I let the better half talk me into doing Bikram in Torquay. Plan was to have a quiet lunch together after the class and spend some quality time away from our two teenage boys.
Anyway after an hour and a half of being bent like a pretzel in forty degree heat we walked out of the studio to find...blazing sun and a hot Northerly wind kicking in. Needless to say the lunch got ditched pronto and I made myself very popular by insisting we high tail it for home...like immediately!!
I reckon this one caught a lot of people by suprise...not all time but not too damn bad.
The new board continues to blow my mind and I reckon I might be just starting to catch up with it...keeper for sure!!
Go HD, turn it up and enjoy
Cheers

Jeez I could do with some company!!
In all honesty I called it spot g cos it doesn't rate as an a, b, c or even a d, e or f
Plenty of places to hide!!

Ha!
Next time I film this spot I will do a bit of a sweep and you will get a better idea of why no one surfs it...lots of really sharp rocks!!
On top of that it is very tidal and often has a howling current pulling you off the peak...short board nightmare.
That being said, in winter this joint can turn into cold water Ulus...cant wait!!
Ironically there are four named spots within two hundred meters of this place which to the best of my knowledge have not been surfed...by anyone ever...one of which is called...Nevers...for very good reasons!!
