Sure its been done before but nothing like the latest thoughts.
I have been using a 10ft creatures outer reef with a 10ft deep. Never have had a problem with. Satisfied completely.
Have just started surfing a 8ft 10in Destroyer. Obviously a different board all together, and not being a nose rider board, but don't see the need for the extra length of leggy.
Combination of length and brand not always available so your thoughts on other brands and what maybe to short in length. Appreciated.
And by the way, awesome board.
I use 7 foot on nearly all my boards. My 10 footer I have a 8 foot leash.
I find the smaller leash alot better for board retrieval and just less leash in the wave when on the tail.
I've swapped over the Dakine 8mm leash and love them. Alot better than the ocean and earth I was using religiously.

Use the new version 7 ft x 8mm version of the DaKine Big Wave. Love these leggies, well made, tough, swivels are great, ankle strap is nice and wide, all good
