Was wondering if anyone in Vic can give me a heads-up on good places to surf the SUP around Anglesea this weekend... swell looks small, but i am desperate for a surf. (I'm an east coaster, so dont know the spots that work on a small swell on the west coast)
windjunky, it might not be much help but good luck finding a wave - it's pretty flat this weekend. I'll be clocking up 'family time' in lieu of future wind & swell.
Or...if you have a big board, go sup exploring/touring up one of the local small rivers or estuaries & put it down to paddling technique/balance training.
Probably the best place would be 13th Beach try Sign Posts on the low if there is any swell you might get something there. Ocean Grove maybe on the full tide.
