Hi all, Just a heads up, If you have an opportunity tonight watch 'One Touch' on Fuel TV. I just finished watching the Arvy session but will watch the repeat again coz I missed the first half an hour.
It's about being a Waterman without necessarily having to be Laird, Kalama or Mitchell, oops almost forgot Iron Phill
. Heaps of interesting stuff, a lot of SUP but not neccessarily central to the doco. Great interviews with Clyde Aikau and Andy Iron's wife. It's about loving the Ocean and centres on the Molokai, Wes Berg, his mates and a heap of Aussies going there. You can freely abuse me if you don't like it!!

I got to watch the whole thing in the night session. If you get a chance have a look at this Doco, you won't be let down. Wes Berg was Andy Iron's and i think still is Joel Parkinson's fitness coach according to the movie. He was also one of AI's best mates. Prior to the race he and his mates had briefing's from Archie Kalepa and Dave Parmenter and Clyde Aikau explained how Eddie gave up his life trying to save many. It dealt with the difficulties of travelling with large paddleboards, how to do running repairs, and strategically how to approach 'The Molokai' crossing, including fitness training and paddling tips. It was filmed during the 2011season and he came third in the prone division at his first attempt. I found it educational, extremely well made and showed the human aspect of living a life that is centred around the ocean. 5/5 on the star rating. Any of the content could easily be applied and is related to SUP.
Thanks for the heads up on that one Leroy. I recorded it when you flagged it the other day and just finished watching it. Well worth it, I really enjoyed it.

Pay TV is a poor replacement for time with your kids but sometimes life throws curve balls

I watched it too. Really inspiring. I think I found something new for my bucket list. (long way to go first though)
It's on again a couple of times today I think. So find a pub or a club with Fuel TV and enjoy.

Yeah, I'd read other people posts (from the Gold Coast) post on here to give people a heads up on relevant shows on Fuel TV! Maybe it's about the wrong training group? It really is a good doco though and as I said I only got pay TV when my family was taken from me! (please turn off here to avoid reading bitter rant)
When my ex wife gets back from Paris (again
x3 this year) I plan on discussing a new custody arrangement to be put in place. Unfortunately she now has a huge financial leverage so good luck to me!!! Hopefully I'll be able to show that dragging my two daughter's OS for a couple of weeks every two months is not good for their education (The 16 year old, baby sits the 6 year old). She lets me have the 14 year old boy and the 18 year old boy does what he wants. It's funny how both the boys, who spend time with me are Victorian State hockey Reps,(the 18 year old boy is also doing his first year of Civil Engineering at VUand the 14 year old boy was Dux of his year level last year the two girls on the other hand have both been diagnosed with learning difficulties??? Be careful who you marry, they suck you in for twenty five years and then........ I'm really not sure???? One day she might tell me. If I'd said no when she asked me to marry her, (seriously!!) I wouldn't have those four incredible kids. Two negatives do make a positive!! This section was therapy for me on my wedding anniversary. sorry if you read through it.
