Yewwwwwwww.... what a great run!
Such good sessions, most of them solo or with another surfer.
I rode 4 different boards in 5 sessions.... so fun!
It was a 14 sec. swell, which is pretty much closeouts at most Florida spots, so I did a LOT of driving!
Chased it from Cocoa Beach to Jensen Beach... and had some interesting days at the beach!
Note:
SoloShot was not following correctly much of the sessions....
BUT:
After 3 years of trial and error.......I think I finally figured out how to get it tracking correctly.
The last day of the swell was pretty wonky, so I spent some extra time setting up Solo and tried a totally different procedure..... PERFECT!
If this setup works in a few more sessions, I will make a "How To" video of what finally broke the code for my SoloShot3 Optic65
I hope you ALL get a run of waves like this soon!! ![]()

Cool video. Nice string of sessions you recorded. Caught some wildlife as well. Some seabirds and some silly birds. I especially enjoyed the new dismount/kick out you were working to perfect. ![]()
The ladies might've been less offended if you had both paddles out Creeky... bit of consideration mate!

The SoloShot picks up a lot of cool bird behavior... pretty interesting to review the footage and slo-mo some of their antics!
finsup, there were plenty of paddles on that beach ![]()
supsean, it was so nice to have that string of conditions!!! ![]()
As always great video Rick, thanks for sharing.
I'm particularly delighted by the number of falls included in this one. I was beginning to suspect you were some sort of robot mongoose sent from the future to destroy us all. It appears that you might just be human after all.......![]()
Also nice to see some less than ideal conditions down there, makes my local break seem a little more bearable.
Keep up the good work!
