Got a second-hand Quatro Glide 8'8" and I'm finding it hard to get a board bag for it. So far, two different windsurf shops have told me that they can't find a bag for it.

Dimensions are
Length 8'8" (264cm)
Volume 145L
Width 33" (84 cm)
Tail width 20 (20cm)

I have a Starboard 9'x30" bag that I managed to shove it into, but could not get the zippers to go all the way up.
Found oceans earth barry basic sup 9'0" which goes to 33" but nothing available, and it seems like either the importer is not bringing it in anymore, or Oceans Earth is no longer manufacturing.

Does anyone have this board and can recommend a decent padded bag for it?
Not very keen on a sup sock as I'm a little bit clumsy with my gear.

By the way, fantastic board. Really loving the design for SUP and Windsup.

Thanks Rossall.
It looks like 9'0 x 33" is not an uncommon size. So I'm not sure what all the hassel is.
But I was speaking to another shop yesterday who said their supplier had not got any new sup board bag stock since 2022.
I'm back in OZ next month so I might just start ringing around there and see if I can find one. Balin looks like a good bag unfortunately no stock in that size, at the moment but I'll send them an email to see when they will restock.

Most boards i get a custom bag made for it. Can't help you in Oz for who to go to - but the custom bags i get are the same cost as most generic bags (unless they are on sale/discount).

Can anyone recommend you a custom bag maker?

I might be able to get one made for around $400 AUD. Looking at my current board bags, it seems some have a straight zip that runs along the rail of the board, others have a flap that covers the rail, and then the zip is just on the top of the rail.
When you get your board bags made, is there any special lingo that you use? How many cm padding do you get?

www.whasup.co.uk here's who I use in UK. I don't know if there's any info you can glean from it (if you tell him your board he either knows it or looks it up & makes it to measure). Have a look at the SUP board bags page for some specs.

I think the only questions I've answered are- whether to have a sun reflective material on one side, & whether i want it to have a cut out for rear thruster fin (i dont). All the bags are made so the board & fins fit inside. Cost is about ?125 GBP

Look at windsurf boardbags, maybe some used ones.
The big beginner/freeride boards have sizes like your 8'8.
I'm also using a windsurfbag for my Quatro Glide 8'6 x 32
