Come to Western Australia to experience one of the longest and most consistent Downwind runs in the world. Over 20km of groomed runners, that run parallel to the coast - no extreme offshore crossing.

The 2017 edition of the Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut features:
1. $18,000+ prize money - the richest in Australia
2, Equal prize money for male and female athletes
3. The new look Starboard Half Cut race - always held on the Sunday (this will not be moved if the main race gets moved to Sunday - so both races will run con-currently).
4. The Express Two Storey Living Estuary Run - a 8km enclosed waters Downwind Sundowner run on the Friday.
5. The Stoke Party - All competitors and friends invited to the presentations and after party - The Stoke. Bring your best Hawaiian shirt!

It's going to be huge!

Current forecast. Bit more wind would be nice, I'd rather rely more on my (average) DW skills and less on my (below average) fitness!

Mmmmm I don't like the look of those Northerly conditions on Sunday hope they don't creep forward.
I'm the same, I'd rather rely on my (dodgy) downwind skills than (lack of) fitness, what will be will be though.
It's looking great for the 2nd SSS race on Thursday.

Come on Huey.....Please!!!

P.S. I wish you would flip those colours on the graph, that looks even worse with heaps of red.

That looks better and I see now the forecast has already improved a bit, the North wind on Sunday has disappeared, now for it to go ballistic from the South on the Saturday.
