I just wanted to pass on my thoughts. I recently bought a 8'6 Gulliver via Stonker which I found to be a fantastic board and quite a move away from what i had been riding which was JP 9'2 Pro for sometime. Whilst on a trip in Bali the board delaminated and yes, I was mindful to keep it out of the sun - not my first rodeo. Upon return Alex was happy to change the board out at no cost to me and put me onto one of his new Stonk V Box. This was the first of his range in these models and they are quite awesome boards. Perhaps not as light as what the Gulliver was, and needs a little bit more in wave power to get it going but once it lights up it's a fantastic board. In saying that, the Stonker team are working hard with R&D and an exclusive custom range that should be out real soon. I've also got my eyes on one of those as Alex has let me use his own personal board, an 8'3 carbon model. So stay tuned, coz I think there might be a new addition to the quiver already!

I've only just started riding one of these boards after SUPing more seriously for the last 18 months or so. I'm slowly improving paddling on it, falling off a bit still, but once I am on a wave I absolutely love it. Fast, loose, catches wave easier than any other board I have paddled. Even though more conventional boards are easier to paddle, they don't ride anywhere near as good as one of these. Would be hard to go back.

Murray, could you please clarify whether or not you have a commercial interest to declare on the subject of Stonker boards?
