had a very quick paddle on it in the bay about 20knots and lumpy, first thought it is similir in stabalilty to the 09-11 pocket rocket, the 2012 PR is more stable. it seemed to paddle well and not to much yaw (didn't do any great distance). I tried the carbon and it felt and looked unreal, the shape IMO is beter then the PR and the tail is nice. Caught no waves but it looks like it would go well (if i had the money i would buy one)

hi mate I'm about 95-97, i think that it would handle that weight if it was not to choppy and also how skilled you are, i,m sure it would be a bit of a challenge at first but has the say water time and i reckon it would pay off

hi matt, im currently on the big bro the 8.10 and find the stability fine, it will be interesting how the two boards compare surf wise. the new 8.10 has been refined down a tad so im hoping the 8.2 is going to be a great board. i also have the 10.5wp to surf when its small. cheers

Is the new 8.10 so much better than the old one? Has anyone tried both?

ok boys here it comes. at 100kg the 8.2wp is fairly stable and paddles well for its short length. its very loose and twitchy but glides well again for its size. on a wave it feels like there is no board below your feet. only surfed it in small waves and goes well. i think its on my limit for vol and length. for guys 90plus kgs who want a realy loose board it could be the go.

Any advice for me?? I am stuck between a 8.2 WP a 8.10 WP a 8.5 PR and the 9.1 Pro as my board for the surf. I have a 11.2 Blend and I prone surf shortboards 6.0 FW Dominator and 6.2 Lost Stealth when the waves cooperate the east coast of Central Florida. I want to do more paddle surfing and not on the boat. I'm 5'9 and weigh 80 Kgs, should be 76. Most of the waves here are a bit choppy and onshore with some glory days sprinkled here and there. A lot of people here recommend me to go with something longer than 9 feet but I do not want anything longer than the 9.1 Pro. I am looking for 1 of these 4 boards to compliment my Blend for a 2 board quiver with the #1 intention to ride waves, but also to go for a flat occ paddle with a chica. Any thoughts? Thanks!!
