hi all,

looking to surprise the wife with a board for xmas and to put it bluntly I have no idea what I'm looking for as there are so many options available.
We have both never used a SUP before and I guess I'm looking for something we can both have a bit of fun on.
Will predominately be used for flat water paddling in the lakes down here in Vic. I'm 90kg & my wife is 60kg (but don't tell her I told you)
I had a budget in mind of around $1000 & I'm not fussed if I had to buy a second hand board.
Any advice you could offer would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

lots to choose from and I think any size from 10ft+ board is a good start but best to visit those shops for some advise if nearby if not the seabreeze community will response soon.

Hire first to see if you both enjoy it. Might save you money or cost you twice as much for the purchase of two boards.
