Don't write off the 9'5' Wide Point from Starboard, as a card carrying member of the OFB club and weighing in around the 100kg (going up to 110 at times) I have found the 9"5 to have heaps of float its very stable easy to paddle and surfs very nicely. I have had it out in everything from knee high to double overhead (I'm not really very tall at all). I have nothing but good things to say.

Hey Spencer,

I haven't tried the 9'5 striker, but have tried the 8'11, I am 100kg, I found the 8'11 to be perfect for me! Trims perfect on the nose and very stable! It has a real traditional nose rider feel! The 9'5 has the same rocker profile, just a bit longer and wider, so I imagine it would give you a bit extra glide and stability. Having the grip all the way from tail to nose is great!

The Jimmy Lewis Strikers are great board, I can't wait to add the 8'11 to my quiver!

the 8'11 striker also surfs well off the tail up too about 3' surf, its a bit of a handfull any bigger. in small surf its a heap of fun both on the nose and the tail.
