been sup surfing for 4 years now i love my starboard whopper.there are some flat water race type events close to me i would like to get started ,what with board is good to get started on im 6ft4 105 kegs ,any info would be good .

So you are only wanting flatwater? if so then being a big guy that it seems you are you could look at the wider Starboard sprints they do a 28 wide not in the new models but in the 2014 and 2015, this would be no worries for your size also if you are purely only going to do flatwater and no bumps at all you could go a bit narrower say down to a 25-26.
You could also try and pick up a old 2015 Starboard RACE as they are pretty cheap now and still a good board in the flat. If you are in WA then go and see the guys at Auswind or Stand up surf shop in Freo as they will both be able to sort you out.
