Has anyone ridden one of these?..new to the mkt and they have widened it to 29 at 111L. The 8.5 is at 112L so not much lost volume wise considering the drop down from 8.5 to 8.0.
Would love to get some feedback>
i sold my 9,0 naish hokua an buy this one,not in my hands yet, expect it for tomorrow. at 102 kg I hope it floats me well
I've got it and am still trying best fin combos, so not really in a position to write a decent review on it. Loz did one earlier, so maybe search for it. The main issue I have with mine is that the fin box won't let me put the cdrive tail fin right the way back, and that makes it too skatey if it's over 4ft. Once I get a moment to sort that out and move it back I will let you know how it goes. Riding it as a cdrive quad at the moment but it's lacking drive compared to the thruster set up.
finally got mine, I can say that it is first sight love , still we are knowing one each other, only 3 surf sessions but really happy wiht her.
with my weight 104kg +3/4mm wetsuit and compared with my other boards(starboard 7,11, hokua 9´0) is harder to stand up, especially in choppy/windy conditions but once in a wave it´s worth the effort. turns really great and accelerate like a shortboard
3 waves from yesterday:
Geez ibones, I'm 85kg and I reckon with anothe 20kg I'd be 2 feet underwater with this board. I better stop whinging and man up.

Hi Tang, to try your board as a thruster with rear fin efficiently further back the US box:
