Just got this board shaped. Only taken it out once. Waves were 2-4 ft typical southern cal waves very little power.
Manage to catch a few that held up got to see the board really burn down the line. cutbacks and turns were faster then I am used to. Did a lot of overcorrecting. Hopefully once a real swell comes to town I can really see what the board is all about..
hey colas,
the handle is the lift sup handle. My shaper is friends with the man who invented or has a patent on it. He puts it in boards for 65 dollars. Basically just where you would normally have that empty place to put your hand they put a plug with a handle instead. Works great. Makes it super easy to carry to the the waves, also and way more important at least if you ask me is that when you get caught in a real big wave and don't want to lose your board you can just pop that handle out and hold on. Makes everything safer. It locks when you surf and easily pops out when you need it. All made out of plastic.
