Bit SUPrised to not find anyone with feedback but doesnt really matter cause now I own one ,have had a couple of surfs on it , stable as, gunna require some minor style adjustments and a play with fin combos but I can safely say I love it

A guy I surf with has one n I've had a few surfs on it too. Goes well, a big difference to the JP 8'2 wide body I was surfing at the time..I'm not too keen on the starboard touch deck grip but he loves it..he pretty much surfs it as a quad almost every time.

Hi already change my airborne 8.8 for the airborne 7.10 x 31.5 i under de 88 kgs and pretty much the board and rails is under water, the take off need to be in the line up but once you are on the wave i feel the difference between the AB 8.8 the AB7.10 is more fast and easy to turn, but i tried on a very shoppi day and the AB 7.10 is trickie to paddle.

But i really prefer the AB 7.10 x 31.5,

Congrats for yoy new board...

I just got rid of my AB 8.8 and I am a heavyweight so the 8.8 for me was probably like the 7.10 for others. I think without a doubt they are one of the best boards around.

I recently got a 7'10" x 30" Airborn and I am struggling to enjoy it, most because it is a small wave board and I tend to SUP mostly on big conditions.

Pros:
- Light(~5kg)
- Short. It fits in most places that other SUPs won't, which is is great for storing and traveling.

Cons:
- High end is too low, at 4ft at the most. There isn't enough rocker and the nose dives rather easily, for anything above 4ft.
- It is too wide, rail to rail is slow compared to my 28.5 wide board. In faster waves I have to move my feet half way through the bottom turn, which is pretty annoying.
- Take of is from the line up, as mentioned already. So, no more early take offs, which is a huge turn-off for me. Taking off from the line-up on Sydney's crowds can make a lot of people angry :)
- No deck pads. I love the feeling of wax on my surf and kite boards, but I regret going deck-less on a SUP. Too much was, too much mess, wax wears out really quick when you stand on it for hours...Basically, this board works well in the conditions I would rather be surfing on a ~7" mini-mal.
It would be suitable for someone that focus on small waves and prefer the small form factor.
