HI im 95 kgs and looking for a new race board i dont want a board for sprinting but something that is better at staying at top hull speed.i will be mainly doing flat river distance and looking for something with more glide than my coast runner any suggestions please.
I have a hobie , great board.at 95 kg you are about 5 heavier than me and this board is a little light on volume for me , but has great glide and super lite.you should check out lahui kai 14flat water board , mick dibetta rides it at training and he may be around your weight and the board seems to go really good for him.
I have a Starboard Race 14x25 that seems to be pretty fast (93kg).With my Falcon Flatwater 14x27 from 2012 I could get up to 10km p/h for only a couple of hunderd meters, with this baby I can stay on it for 4km......and i,m just back on my raceboard after almost a year of no racing at all !Still the fastest flatwater board I paddled so far are the JP,s. awesome glide and still stable enough.
I would also add the Hobie 12'6" Elite, and with a vintage back to 2013... great flat water piercing type nose, enough nose and tail rocker that you can adjust your footwork for bumpy condition when they appear. At 28.87 inches wide it's considered a "touring board" against todays definitions but quite capable with the right technique.
And the volume would certainly support your weight.
The Hobie is built rock solid, with a carbon fibre wrap in the rails, where you typically need it.
I would also second the Lahui Kai 14x27.25, which I own now and love.
You can probably find a Hobie fairly cheap and not be compromised for a first board purchase.

If you want to stick with Starboard demo a 14'x28'' Allstar.. The Naish Javelin and Fanatic Falcon are other good options.. Heaps to choose from.
