Hey Tang,
I surfed the 8' 10" LE in solid overhead Right Point down at the Island and then at overhead Big Left. They were the only surfs I had on it, and I always think it takes 3 or 4 surfs before you begin to dial-in a board, but I thought it went very well. A good board for overhead conditions, felt solid on the bottom turn and reo's.

Designed in Maui Hawaii and intended for Maui Hawaii ?
What performs well in ocean waves not necessarily performs well in ****ty or mushy or beach break waves.

Haven't seen one but I'm glad they've done the big 9'6"X32..

I'm 6'4" and 95kg and find my 9'1" a bit tippy in choppy water and there are plenty of bigger guys than me out there..

It's great to see Naish looking after the bigger guys/gals and not just focusing on the hobbit size Lenny people..

The fin boxes seem to be to far forward. Maybe that is the ticket on big waves.

There's no good reason to sell the 2014 LE model X32 (same shape) other than if you like the look of the new GT boards..

The 2014 LE boards are a little lighter.. and maybe a little stronger.. but the new GT boards have a better handle.. and better fins.

Some may prefer the mat finish and look of the LE boards but I actually prefer the high gloss look and graphics of the new GT boards.

The brushed look is actually the putty finish on the GT boards, it's one way they have cut the weight of the wood boards this year. The LE carbon boards are the matt yellow finish. When you look closely at one you can see the honeycomb finish.
