Anyone know how the sizing works for the insane? Run the same volume as you would an Acid or a Flow or should you add some? I know Bert thinks volume doesn't matter as much as surface area does on surfboards. Does that apply in this case? The 9-5 is about the same volume as my 8-8 Speeed, my current all-around board. Is the added length enough to add some glide on bigger days, or do I need to pack some volume on too? My current 'step-up' 9'8 Starboard Pro catches bigger waves fine but the rails don't have the bite I want on the wave.
