Fellow SUP heads I'm close to pulling the trigger on ordering the small Hypernut. I'm in WA so I think Demo opportunities are limited given I don't live in Perth.
Can anyone that's has ridden one (in waves) please give me their thoughts on the board?
My current quiver is
JP 8'2 surf 101L 28wide for decent clean waves locally and down south
Laguna bay Hybrid 8'2 29 3/4 wide unknown L's (id guess 115L) for small and bump stuff.
I'm 173cm short and 82kegs. Will the Hypernut be a replacement for my grovel board or the JP.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Cheers Bender
until september i can´t say anything!! i pulled the trigger without demo it and only in septiembre it will arrive here.
There is a topic here, that has a review of it.
Yeh I had a little session on it in 2 foot junk. Im bout 92 kilo 6'1 and it floated me ok and was really stable for a little board. It was loose and responsive and really light. I had to keep moving so its extra work for my weight Big thumbs up from me .

Thanks Windara. It should be pretty stable then
widnara, could you tell me wich is the hypernut in the pictures, AST, Wood or carbón? Is the final color? Thks!!
I only had it for a day. Pretty light so Im pretty sure it was carbon :) Cool little board and surprisingly stable!
....sorry bout the crap photos......I was rushing :). Im looking forward to demoing the other sizes. Im not sure on the litres of that 7"2 but guessing around the 110 - 115 mark
The Hyper in the photos is a finished proto..it is around 104ltrs and no that is not the final colours . It will be a lighter blue with an orange/red strip almost like the colours on this years ACE.
Photos on the back of the current SUP World mag are correct colours.
Hope this helps Rod
