Got a 7-11 Speeed couple years back but it needed repair and I sort of forgot about it in my shed. Got back on it for two long days this last week in clean conditions with every kind of beach break wave imaginable, barreling to mushy, waist to overhead. I initially had trouble getting excited about this board cause at 94L it doesn't feel noticably smaller than my 100L blurr v2 on the wave, it's more tippy side to side but easier to recover from front to back wobbles cause the nose is wide. I'm at 85kg right now w suit, the board def not a sinker, but sits low with water over top of feet.

I had a few solid waves that were in between hallow and mushy, but with some push, I think it was a couple of 15s swells combining occasionally in a spot that magnifies wave size. Anyway, holy cow I was really liking the Speed on these waves. The Blurr sometimes feels slippery on the bottom for me when I try to do a deeper bottom turn going fast, perhaps it's all my technique but sometimes I wonder if the an outline going from 28" wide to super pulled in just doesn't grip as well. The Speeed felt more locked in off the bottom, also not as effortless to turn off the top, but still felt great. A couple times I wanted to wrap turn to whitewater on frontside turn and I felt like board wanted to just go straight down wave, but prob just my technique not adjusting to outline.
