Been using a standard lenght surfboard legrope on my Minion for the last 6 months & it finally broke last surf, I prefer leggys on the shorter side - seems to be quicker to recover board.

Looking for advise on what replacement legrope to get, surf is only up to 4 feet - Sunshine Coast.

Thanks

Creatures outer reef, 8 ft, 9mm with extra cushie 2" ankle strap, best I have found so far.

In standard sizes, O&E One, definitively.
The Creature Outer Reef is nice (I have one for the big days), but more bulky.

X2 for me I have a 10 footer for big days....but the 8 ft is perfect.

Agree the O&E are great for a standard legie
But they do break like any legie when you least expect it

I have used these squid leg ropes on all my boards, no breakages yet and they have been in use for years now.

I have a 7'8 Minion and snapped 2 leashes in the last big Easter swell..which was costly and meant a 200m swim in...I now use the Balin 10mm..my ankle will break before the leash now

Just what he said!!!

But I would even go as far as saying that in any size except for that size that you don't want to be there!!!
I've been using 7ft O&E One leashes on my SUBs for the past three years and so far I have only snapped one.
