Hey guys, first post here.
Just got myself a SIC Bullet 14ft V2 and have unfortunately scratched it on my first go with it before my rail tape has arrived.
Any tips on masking or getting rid of these hideous marks?

I'm ocd with my toys and it's going to drive me insane.

If you are in Melbourne Oke Surfboards in Braeside did a great job with colour matching some ding/scrapes on my board .

Can't tell if those scratches are in the paint or leftovers from what hit it - but try benzene on a cloth and they might just go with a bit of scrubbing.

I was using my old aluminium paddle so I'm assuming it's in the paint

I can relate to that, did the same thing to my partners V2 when I had ordered mine but wasn't delivered. Safe to say she got the new one and I bought a black texta.......for show only until i really damage it

Chux magic eraser from the kitchen cleaning section of the supermarket.. and some elbow grease.

You will be amazed at how good that will clean up.

And get off the couch and go to a shop and buy some tape. It ain't hard.

Or electrical tape from Bunnings and make a date with your paddle. That's not hard. OCD and you start swinging a metal blade around your rail?

looks fairly superficial in the pic, if DJ's magic eraser doesn't do the trick get a set of Railsaver Pro in a dark colour or the ION brand rail tape ( the dark one) and cover it up.

and yeah, match that board with a decent paddle.

edit: but having said all that, it's a paddleboard. If you actually use it, it's going to get marked.

^^^ As said above, it's a battle scar...toys are supposed to be played with!

Leave the scratches there for prosperity...think of it as ongoing therapy for your OCD.

Yep just beat her up, supposed to be used and abused. It's not a sports car... and if it was, beat that thing up too who cares.

For paint spraying damaged cars the have something to exactly make the paint even if it's old and under influence from uv.
Had to repair my naish and took him in for a colour match, the spray can, wich they make, matches the Naish perfectly and for a price of 23 euro.

After that, it's up to you to put on the RS pro protection

Nothing against RS Pro but I put some clear Bear tape from Bunnings on my rails and it works a treat. $14. For 25m. Bargain!

tried the all weather tape on the weekend.
Tears pretty quick. Maybe good for the nose and tail to protect from bumps and scratches.
I don't recommend for the rail.
