Hello again girls and guys,

I was lucky enough to have Pursuit Performance, Australian distributer for Polar watches, send me one of their V800 watches to review. If you are looking for a new GPS/HRM watch for use while training then this is one to check out. The review is here: http://www.thesupingcaveman.com/blog/sup-review-polar-v800-gps-hrm-watch/11/17/2014

Nice review. But the thing I wanted to know most about was whether it is waterproof, and if so, to what degree. And you don't mention anything about that - ? Cheers.

Great review! You mention you want to review the Suunto which would be good to read. I have the Suunto Ambit2 Sapphire GPS/HR which I use a lot for SUP and windsurfing and really rate the functionality and styling.

Hi mate, thanks for the feedback. Definitely something that I should have mentioned. It is waterproof to 30m/100ft and that is something that I tested in fresh water, Lake Burley Griffin, and salt/sea water at this years Merimbula Classic.
Thanks again.
Matt

Hi Stev0, I am currently in possession of the Suunto Ambit 3 Sport and Peak Sapphire. Really impressed with the styling and functionality also. I am constantly wearing the Sport at the moment. Hope to have the review up mid January start of Febuary.
Thanks again,
Matt
