Anyone here have any idea what's going on with SIC's new FAST steering system... I've been informed by my dealer who has ordered a 2016 Bullet 17 (with the FAST ) that there's a production glitch with it... but he hasn't been told much more than "summer delivery" (summer being July /August in the Northern hemisphere, obviously..) SIC has changed their website to show the steering boards (Bullet 17, 14V2, and F16) to now be only available with the old ASS system.. Something smells fishy, I think..
Anyone in Aus have one with the new system? Or even seen one?
What's "fishy" about this situation? Production glitches often mean they have been let down by a supplier. The FX appeared late this year too so I'm guessing maybe that all production SICs are coming a bit later than planned this year. Custom SICs from Maui don't come with the FAST system I think. It's a nuisance for sure, and frustrating if you've ordered one, but surely not "fishy", which I understand to mean that there is some deception involved?

Having spent many years in engineering design roles for automotive manufacturers, I'm more than aware of production snafus.. My concern is that maybe SIC has decided to cut their losses and forgo the whole deal.. Or put it off for a year.. The question stands.. Has anyone seen a FAST system on a production 2016 yet.. (I know there are preproduction boards out there.. )
