At the start of the year I brought a old 2011 Starboard Race 12'6" x 31.5" in Carbon. I love the style of the old Starboards as my very first board I had brought was a 2011 14' x 28" Coastrunner. But in my inexperienced wisdom I sold it for a flat water board of a different brand. And regretted it soon after. Even more so when starboard changed the nose style in 2014-15. Thank god they are bringing the old style (sort of) back.
Any who trying to find the old styles in good condition is getting harder and harder as time roles on.
So I managed to find a second hand for sale. As you can see by the pics the poor old girl needed some work.
Basically I justed wanted to share the end product. I know the paint job looks unfinished but it's how I like it. Can't wait to get her back out on the water..

Looks really good, and old is new again. I had the same one in AST white and should have kept it. The nose design for that year looks pretty close to NSP designs now.

It shows how good that design was all those years ago that other companies are using the same design now.. I just didn't understand why starboard only kept it for the Ace but went to a flatwater style on the allstar. Oh well. I guess smarter heads have finally prevailed as they are now bringing that type of style back to the allstar making it a better downwinding board the previous years..
