Hi Everyone
I know that people get super secretive and protective about their special spots when it comes to surfing and SUP etc however I am new to SUP in Perth and was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to share a couple of nice places to go SUP'ing north of the river. I am located in Mindarie and am happy to go a bit further north but just don't really know where to start other than the Marina which is a little limiting.
I have an all rounder board and just want somewhere I can poddle off to for a day trip, nothing too serious, just some relaxing fun on my board with my pooch. Thanks for any help, I do appreciate it!

South of you around Hillarys there is loads of flat water to be had with no shorebreak, safe and patrolled in summer. Best to head to Sorrento SLSC carpark for the south of the harbour entry. Further south you get a few waves at North beach around Mettam’s Pool and then further south at Trigg. Large waves and shorebreak in the winter but the summer is usually fine to get in and cruise up and down the coast.

Not too sure on the northern option for you, only ever go to Lancelin, plenty of flat water on the inside there.
