On the Quatro HP they anounce a new Kay Lenny Edition model called Midlength which is specced as an Twinfin.
I own a 2019 Quatro Glide 8'6 x 32, 130 liters, which i recently also converted into a Twinfin using Future K1 Keels and boy this feels like rocket fuel on in the board. While my 3 week trip to Portugal i could compare the Keels back to back to the original Thruster and also to a MFC Quad setup and found the Twin setup really spiced up the board regarding speed an turning.

There's not much to read about Quatro SUPs here (and elsewhere) but now i wonder if stepping up to the new Kai Lenny Midlength would be a logical step up in my SUP evolution, thinking about the 140 liter model 8'8 x 31.
Has anybody seen these boards in real life or other infos than the stuff on the Quatro HP?

I've noticed the shops are giving a huge discount on the current Quatro inventory. Makes me think they'll be releasing updated boards soon.

These look pretty nice and fairly light.I like how the pro has my dims as an option but not into fcs. Looks like no goretex vent. Wish they would post nose/tail widths and a little video. The volumes seem a little low compared to the thickness, but who knows with production boards.

I wonder if supboarder will review

Confused by the marketing on the mid-length, it's a KT/Kai Lenny twin fin but it says it's for beginner to intermediate surfers and the widths start at 30"... I like the 9x27 dims for longboard.

I remember asking SHQ a couple of years back for a Quatro Sup. Was over $3500 then and a 6 month+ wait...

Do you have any idea which fins you'd use on the midlenth?
In Kay's YT vid they show it with a 2+1 Twin setup.
Since i really like the Future K1 Keels in my Glide 8'6 i wonder which fins would fit best to the midlenght.

I have the the Quatro carve , 7'7 93litres . construction amazing , very fast design . Have to say after 17 years on a sup , been through buckets of boards . , these are weapons . Wish they made a gun ??

Cool how's the rail engagement? Do they feel thick, what volume ratio are you riding?

Video on site, I'm pretty sure he is riding a custom in the shortboard segment which seems kind of bogus.

Would also like some input on the Performance Board as well. Thinking about the 8'8" ML as my wife's crushing board and something I can use for groveling conditions. ;)
Where's the Average Joe reviews?
