Is there any difference from the 2015 paddles other than bold new graphics and the addition of the kid's paddle? I just bought a Makani vario 8.5 and have been liking it so far but it flutters more for me than the other paddle that I've been using. I'm sure it's my poor technique though.
Hey CC,
Totally new layup, tougher, stronger and more efficient than ever. Biggest changes are with the HELE, Wave LE and Race LE. But here is some very cool new enhanceents.
JB
We have the same size and a smaller one on the way. also in the Makani and Kaholo too. Alana has a larger Vario added to the range.

Hi JB
Is the Wave LE the lightest & best surf wave paddle available? and what is the exact weight etc..?:-)
thanks regards John :-)
Anyone know if Naish are updating graphics / model changes for 2016 ? ie will new raptors change to 2016 graphics etc
Seabreezer,
Technically the Raptors are a 2016 model, we just released them early. The styling of the boards for the 2016 season will remain the same as most of the 2015 models. New models for 2016 are:

HOKUA RAPTOR - V95, V116 & V128
HOKUA KEIKI - 6'2", 6'6" & 6'10"
NALU LE - 10'
GTW Construction on MANA, NALU, GLIDE & X32
GLIDE TOURING - 11'6" & 12'
JAVELIN CARBON - 12'6" x 24", 12'6" x 26", 12'6" x 28", 14' x 24", 14' x 26" & 14' x 28"
JAVELIN MALIKO - 14' x 24" & 14' x 26"
ODYSSEUS 11'2" & ODYSSEUS 11'2" SOFTTOP
And a full new paddle range. The existing Mana, Nalu and Glide ranges carry through.

Johndesu,
The wave LE is by far my most favourite paddle ever. The 2014/15 model was so comfortable and an amazing weight, and only now with the 2016 can I say that I have found a better surf paddle. The 2016 WAVE LE is a little stiffer enhanced with that awesome flex that the Wave LE has. Weight and specs are online at www.naishsurfing.com/ or direct on the following link - www.naishsurfing.com//product/wave-le-fixed/
Hope this helps,
Regards,
JB
I really like the new 3D feature for the boards, it would be nice if we could see the paddle blades the same way on the website. The blade on the Makani is more obviously featured than it looked in any of the pictures I could find before I ordered it. Unfortunately the nearest Naish dealer is a couple of hours away and in the city and I really hate going into the city. ![]()
