Hi, looking at a Mana 10. I'm 6'5 around the 105 kg mark. Would this be a suitable board for a bit of flat water paddling and catching 1 to 2 footers. Not looking for a big wave board, will surf those days, just to play on the small stuff. Demo'ed a 10'6 Nalu didn't find it suitable bit too bogged down for my liking, cheers

The Mana should be perfect.. Also check out the Odysseus (9'8"x34")

Yep ..your on the right track ..the mana is perfect for little waves and has a good volume for your weight .190 litres
i agree will DJ about the Odysseus too.Ive had a few spins on my friends one and Im impressed with How well they turn
and a great price .Both are great flat water and small wave boards ..if its more for waves ,go the mana .10'
The 11' Nalu might be worth a look too@175 litres .It paddles faster ,but has to be surfed like a mal.it won't float you as good as the other two.
The mana will turn sharper ..

Yes!!!! I have one and it's great if that is what you want to do with it. I am looking toward a second board though for more speed on a longer paddle as the mana has trouble going straight in large chop and a moderate wind.

Is there any or much difference (apart from colour) between a 2014 10ft Mana and the 2016 model? Cheers

No.. Pretty sure 2014 was the start of the new (and current) shape Mana's..

One way to know for sure is to check the widths.. The old shape was 32 with the new being 33" wide.

I've got a 2014 10' Mana GT. Same specs as the current model. Use it 50/50 flat water and small surf. I'm 103kegs, dodgy right knee, It's stable as. Handles flat water pretty well if you stand with your heals parallel with the front of the grip, slide the center fin to the back of the fin box and work on your paddle technique. Surfs pretty well for it's size as well. I would rate it as a good all round board, had mine for 12 months. My wife has a 9'5' Mana that I can paddle fine as well.
I have tried the Odyseuss and if you have a surfing background you are going to be happier with the Mana on a wave, it's way easier to turn IMHO
