Hello folks, After having four Starboard inflatables, and now only having one Astro Racer 14x26, I am looking for a stable platform for winter paddling cause I miss to much my touring boards, those that I sold cause I rarely use them BTW. I don't have place for a hard touring board in my apartment but I could store anything around 10' So I was thinking going for a hard allrounder instead an inflatable one. My paddling would be 95% time on flat and still water, but my 26" race board is not ideal with water temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius.
My only option in the used marked was thw SB whooper in wood construction for around 900 eur. and a SB windsup with the same shape on the whooper in AST, both like new and from year 2015.
My thought and doubts..
- will I enjoy a shorter board after having few bigger ones?
- would I notice the difference between the inflatables and a hard board?
- WindSup would be an interesting option?
- Should I go for the larger boat I could storage?

The only board that I can think of that would be perfect for you is the Naish 9'8" Odysseus.. It's an amazing flat water paddler for such a short/wide board.. and they're pretty cheap.
