Just got hold of a second hand JP surf pro . checking it out scratching my head , the grey on deck different to rails then realized that the deck with the stripes and jp decal is all a sticker .Is this the norm ?
Also noted the paintjob on bottom put on last .
So two things can I peel sticker off and clean it up and can I buff the bottom up a bit without trashing the stripe work

PS great looking surf craft cant wait to get it on a wave

Cheers Pat

I wouldn't go buffing the hull side. It had a matte finish which releases water better than a gloss finish.

Pat, I recenly bought a 2014 JP Surf Pro which as you mention, has the JP sticker on the deck which I'm also not a huge fan of.

I looked at the 2015 model where the JP logo is part of the artwork however, aside from some minor differences in the graphics, it's the same board so choosing the cheaper 2014 model was a no-brainer.

At the end of the day, it's all about the performance of the board & I'm confident you wont be disappointed!

Pat I had a repair to the deck done recently and yes it is the case.
